1870’s Home Renovation

Completed renovation of a historical home located in Belleville, IL.  The home was built in the early 1870’s and had significant plaster damage and deterioration.  Removed damaged original wood lathe plaster and repaired and replaced throughout first floor family room, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen.  Removed paneling and drop ceiling from both dining room and kitchen to restore the original 10 ft high ceilings throughout first floor.  Completed various plaster patches to second story bedroom and repaired second story plaster ceiling in bathroom.  Painted entire first and second story.  Refinished original wood floors, which were hidden under one layer of carpet and two layers of linoleum in places, throughout foyer, family room, and downstairs hallway.
